Is Pelvic Inflammatory Disease for life?

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

I’m recovering from a laparoscopy for chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (April 2022).

I’ve been left with discomfort walking and I’m now finding I cannot do certain things that I could do a couple of months ago (walking comfortably, discomfort throughout the day, no longer able to run, lifting and general movement restricted, poor posture).

Has anyone had a similar experience, did you recover completely or are symptoms ongoing?
