Caudal Epidural

Has anyone gotten relief from Caudal Epidural? I did get relief by receiving two sets of botulism in five trunk muscles. Had two MRIs one of lumbar and one of pelvis. All they saw was enlarged sciatic nerve at Ischeal Tuberosity.

Pain Dr recommended epidural since I can’t sit well and when lying down I feel like a ball is in rectum. He is doing injection at surgery center so he can administer anesthesia- thank goodness. The Botox required anesthesia as well.

If this doesn’t work he is giving me injection at Ischeal Tuberosity to reduce enlargement of sciatic nerve. I did not realize sciatic nerve runs thru Pelvis and can cause buttock problems. Your responses greatly appreciated. Rocky68
