I had a MRI of Lumbar Spine L3-L5 and it showed 2 rounded .5mm spots on Thecal sac. What is it? Have low back pain and lower left side. They want me to go see a neurosurgeon.. Thanks

Might indicate that extruded or herniated disk material impacted the sack enclosing. Your MR report probably has much more detail and could be explained to you. In my experience getting physical therapy for a period of time is better than rushing to a neurosurgeon. Of course all backs are different. Good luck.
