Dr Muhammad Masood - laparoscopy

Hello! Has anyone had laparoscopy surgery with Dr Muhammad Masood based in Essex, UK? Would be great to hear more about your experience (hoping for some success stories) 🙂 I'm due to have surgery and feeling really anxious about it.

Hi,

I’ve had surgery with another consultant at Queens hospital in Romford before they had an endometriosis centre. I moved due to the poor care from the consultant themselves but I’ve heard other people say positive things about their treatment now the trust has an endometriosis centre and the consultant I saw no longer working there. I’m now treated at a London teaching hospital that has their own endometriosis centre (been there since 2012) and have other consultants at the same trust managing some of my other chronic health conditions. I’m very happy with the care there. One of the important points to make and remember is that no matter how good the consultant is there will always be someone who isn’t/wasn’t happy with them. Are you concerned about the consultant or just asking?

Thank you for your reply, sorry I've just seen it! I'm more just asking. I was meant to have a telephone consultation with the surgeon, but haven't been able to so far which ix making me more nervous.
