Does anyone have lower abdominal pain and/or pelvic pain that is worse when you stand or walk?
I also get sudden severe pain attacks in my lower abdomen and pelvis, often after walking or standing. With these pain attacks I also get pain in my bladder.
I have been to multiple doctors but they haven't been able to give me a diagnosis.
I have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis but I haven't had inflammation for two years and my doctors say that this doesn't explain my pain.

I also have ulcerative colitis and chronic pelvic problems. I have also been to numerous doctors and have had so many scans and tests I've lost count ! but my latest Gynea has found the problem and it only took her a few minutes to diagnose something that all the others had missed? I knew I had fibroids and ovarian cysts but she found vaginal adhesions which are causing the pain.
If your pain is worse with walking and standing sounds very like a prolapse.
I was diagnosed with levator-ani syndrome which causes the pubirectalis muscles to "lock" in painful spasms within pelvis and lower abdomen.
It took a while to get diagnosed as doctors did not look at my symptoms individually, they focused on one condition (colitis) saying that the pain was coming from there.
I knew it was more than colitis as I had a lot of previous gynea ops and was left with adhesions on Bowel, bladder, pelvis and abdomen.
It was when I saw my specialist physio for bladder and bowel dysfunction that they sent me for various tests which showed levator-ani syndrome.
I see my physio every fortnight (before covid), and they do internal/external vaginal trigger point therapy which helps to loosen pelvic spasms. I also get botox injections into pelvic floor, the combination of treatments really helps with spasms it doesn't eradicate pain but makes it more manageable and I get to sit like a normal person for short periods!!
There are so many different conditions with similar symptoms, I had to stand my ground and even got second opinions from another hospital.
I hope you can find out what is causing your symptoms, don't give up hope it only takes that one doctor to realise what the problem is. Wish you good health and stay strong.
I had terrible lower abdominal/pelvic pain last year and it was so bad I was off work for 7 months. I couldn’t stand or walk for long, or sit up properly. I never found a physical cause for the pain despite having many tests, scans etc. But then I stumbled across the Curable app and Dr John Sarno (I read one of his books called The MindBody Prescription). And now I’m pain free 99% of the time. I get slight pain now when I’m really really stressed. If you have had loads of stuff ruled out then I really recommend going down this route and 100% believing that it will work. I chose to fully believe it, otherwise I’m not sure I would have got better as quickly as I did (I returned to work 6-7 weeks after I discovered the app etc. Good luck, I hope you try it
