I personally only take Tramadol whenI am desperate as it makes me feel spaced out Although it does numb the pain.

In 1987 I was at a fitness center and injured my tailbone. After 18 months of tests and various doctors I still had intense pain when sitting. At that time a surgeon said he could remove my tailbone and it was 50/50 if it would help. The pain lessened but never resolved. I was on Tramadol for 30 years (4 -50mg) a day. No side effects but never much relief from pain.

Recently my primary care was no longer allowed to prescribe. I was sent to a pain clinic. Injections of a nerve block have worked and I hope to finally go off Tramadol.

I now know a Pelvic Floor Chiropractor is the place to begin.
