Penis pain: Does anyone know of any... - Pelvic Pain Suppo...
Penis pain
Hi Gardner! I have been suffering for years with penis & testicle pain, numbness skin changes and all sorts & went to many urologists with no help. I dont know your exact symptoms but ive been to a Endocrinologist/physician which diagnosed me with neuropathy.. where the brain is sending abnormal signals which give arise to all my symptoms including pain. he put me on Dulotoxene, lyrica & cialis (for 6months) and was told it can take months to years to heal. its been over a month and i am already feeling better. Just some suggestions. Do you have a herniated disk or any back problems?
I do have a herniated disc yes but they said it's not linked, I'm on dulotoxene and gabepentin... How much dulotoxene do you take and what are the other medication you are on for? I am on tamsulosin for my over active bladder, lumpy semen, pain in testicles and pain in a line that's appeared over the past few years. Where's your penis pain? Does your pain increase when the penis shrivels? I've been diagnosed with pudendal neuralgia but I think something else is the cause if this line where the pain is coming from.
Hi gardner90! I also had a herniated disk which was operated on with success.. building up to my herniation these symptoms came... golf ball feeling in anus, uncomfortable painful penis shaft more on the left & slightly higher on the right side..uncomfortable numb perinium.. skin changes all over penis and scrotum almost like thinning texture.. dropped semen volume pain in abdomen & countless problems also i was told it is not related to my problems by the neuro surgean but the testicle pain was. you mean when it shrivels like a hard spasm? (hard flaccid) at times yes it would curdle and feel like its tight and hard while flaccid... is that what you mean? (from research i found that to be fascia joints & tightness in the pelvis). I take 60mg dulotoxene and take one in the morning, lyrica for nerve pain i take one in the morning and one at night.. cialis one in the morning.(its like a cocktail to regulate my body again) Ive heard of pundendal neurolgia and actually thought i had it.. but endo said my problem was neuropathy from possible spinal injury.. could be the herniated disk but everyone has a different opinion. I wasted my time with urologists.. & eventually tried the endo/physician which ruled out vascular, endo or urological problems and all came down to neuropathy.. im not 100% but things are improving! This might not be related exactly to what you have but could give you food for thought as i know the struggle to find an answer. hope this helps in any sort of way
Hi. I have a different pelvic condition but I am interested in the medications you take. I take duloxetine for pelvic pain and as a side effect I have experienced anorgasmia. (Inability to ejaculate). Does your taking Cialis avoid the common sexual side effects of the other meds? Looking for a solution to that.
I don't take cialis so I'm not sure, gabepentin definitely avoids that side effect
Hi Sturat! I have been taking Dulotoxene for over a month! also struggled with orgasms on it for the first few weeks and i almost asked the doc to prescribe me something else but the last week or 2 i have been able to orgasm.. but i guess its different with everyone. I have too be on dulotoxene for Neuropathy. Cialis just helps with erections but not orgasms. although i have heard that people who struggle with erections from dulotoxene use cialis to help the side effect. I am on 60mg Dulotoxene for neuropathy (one in the morning), Lyrica 75mg for nerve pain (once in the morning once at night) and Cialis once a day for blood flow although i dont have any real blood flow problems down there... its like a cocktail mix for my neuropath that seems to really be helping but can take months to years to reverse! hope this helps
Thanks for the reply shealth6. I think you are right everything is different with everyone-but your experience is informative. I actually know that duloxetine is effecting my nervous system because of the side effect-which is new to me. Maybe orgasms will return-I’m sure they will when I wean off it. Meanwhile I can live with anorgasmia but not chronic pain. Other than that duloxetine is totally tolerable for me-and my chronic torment is almost just a memory. Thanks and good luck
Hi Sturat! glad i could help too some degree! Yea i suffered really bizzare symptoms in the pelvis area... it was an absolute nightmare yet the symptoms went away alone years ago without any medication.. but came back to haunt me this year.. im not 100% but things are looking better.. i had no idea what neuropathy was until this year but it really effected my pelvis and genitals in a bad way! Good luck with the healing man.. hopefully you can wean off all the meds eventually!
Did you mean Pelvic pain ???
