Advice about PID

hey guys, I need some advice. Basically I’ve had chlamydia 3 times the past 3 years (I’ve been really unlucky and I think it was the same person giving it to me, I’m not promiscuous at all). The last time I contracted chlamydia I got this really bad uti was stinging really bad and felt like I needed to pee every 2 minutes but nothing would come out. When it did it had a strong scent. Went and got tested and obviously tested positive for chlamydia and I was davastated but I was onto it early. However, after taking the chlamydia antibiotics I was left with an irritated bladder and it felt like I had a uti but without the bacteria. I’ve had multiple swabs done and sent in over 3 urine tests and all come back with 0 bacteria. I’ve had sex a few times since (protected of course) and it only was uncomfortable when it was deep inside. Does this mean I have PID? It feels like there is a lot of pressure on my bladder and I have started taking PID medication anyway just in case but this medication is making me feel horrifically sick. Heeelllp

Sounds like it could possibly be PID. What have you been tested for? I found that GPs and some Gum clinics only test basic STIs, there are numerous other bacteria that cause those symptoms too. If you can get to a Gum clinic and ask them to additionally test for trichominosis and mycoplasma and ureaplasma as these are quite often overlooked. I saw a specialist doctor at my local gum clinic that tested for those additional bacteria as everything was coming back negative for me apart from bacterial vaginosis on a couple or ocassions, they all came back clear but at least i knew it wasnt that causing all my issues.
