Esmya has been stopped but fibroids still big what do I do?

In December I was put on esmya to reduce the size of my 5 fibroids. The hope was to shrink them so I could have surgery in the hope I could also have a baby after losing my baby during a miscarriage. I was put on esmya for 3 months, I was suppose to take a break from them for 2 months before going back on them for a second cycle to reduce the size even more. However in February I received a g.ps letter saying I was to stop them as they were discontinuing them due to some women having experiencing liver problems while taking them. Even though they were working great for me and they have reduced the fibroids by 1cm each I have been told to stop taking the tablets but I haven't been told or seen anyone who can tell me what the plan is to help reduce the fibroids from growing, now I don't know what is happening or how the speclist I was seeing is going to rid me of the fibroids to have a successful pregnancy. I did ask a fertility speclist but I was told she wasn't worried about them, but it hasn't helped me stop worrying about them. Now I ve been taken of the tablets that was helping, and I should of started my second cycle by now, I feel the fibroids are going to keep growing or worse I'm going to develop more. If there is any one in the same situation or have been going though the same situation I would love to hear how u are coping, or what u have done while trying to get rid of fibroids. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated by me and my other half as we are so confused why the hospital hasn't got us back in to arrange another plan even though we have tried to contact them. Thank you.

Hi Carla,If I were you I wouldn't wait for the hostpital to get in touch with you,you get in touch with them. If you know your Specialist just ring and ask to speak with his secretary ,then explain to her you need an appointment to see him. If she is doing her job properly she will have a word with him,or put you on the list to be seen. But let her know how important it is to you. You can't wait any more you have to take your own health into your own hands. Hope that helps, believe me I'm talking from experience.🤞🙄

I was thinking of doing just that myself but was unsure I could do that, but thanks to your advice I've decided to ring up my consultant tomorrow and hopefully I ll get somewhere as I'm not having very much luck going through a g p, I can't even get in to see my g p to get a referral. Hopefully I ll finally get somewhere if I go straight though to the hospital. Thank you
