How many days for antibiotics to help with pain?

Hello all, this is such a struggle. I hope someone who’s had a similar situation can help me. I’ve had PID for about a month. I tried the natural route to clear it up and it didn’t help. I’ve been on doxycycline for 3 full days. I’m still having terrible cramping and lower abdominal pain. Does anyone know how long it takes for the antibiotics to start relieving the pain? Any help is so appreciated!

I had pid when I was younger and it took around 5 days for pain to start subsiding...I was in hospital with it

I took Doxycycline in February of this year. I suggest taking it with food and avoiding all dairy especially milk. I always took it on a full stomach. You can also ask a local pharmacist at CVS or Rite Aid. I hope this helps.

How may days were you on your antibiotic before you started feeling some relief?

To be honest I really dont know. I think maybe three days or five.
