Hi sorry to hear this..I had similar and pain persisted and in the end needed another op to remove my other ovary with an even bigger cyst 3 years later. I believe I should have had both removed at the same time and it would have saved a lot of distress especially as I had my womb removed 2 years previous to both operations .. I went onto HRT afterwards .. been on it over 25 years and love it !!
I only have a small right ovary left and I can't go for a wee, it's too painful, I'm only 6 and a half stone and my tummy looks like I'm 6 months pregnant. The same pain has returned but worse, it's been 3 weeks since I had the surgery and I'm wondering if a cyst can grow back in that time and cause these problems? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you so much for taking the time to get back to me and I hope you are well too xxxx
I know how you must feel to not have an answer and still be in pain. Cysts on ovaries do take time to grow but one of the main symptomis a swollen abdomen.. I would go back to your doctor and ask for a scan to check out what exactly is happening.................. go to Boots and buy some protein soups to help with yr general health and give yourself treats to make you feel better and put weight back on ..
Hi Frankievovals I had the same surgery as yourself many years ago and the pain went away and came back and I went to doc and she said it takes some time for everything to heal inside and had the pain off and for a few months then it just disappeared if you are worried about it go and speak to doc to put your mind at rest Thinking of you. Thank you I will, I fainted yesterday after I went to the toilet. Each time I try to go pass urine I'm shouting out in pain... when I got off the loo I passed out as though I'd gotten up to quickly. I'm worried about going to the Drs because I've had this operation over 14 times...
After my surgery this time the pain from the cyst went and they removed the ovary. But since 2 days ago the exact pains came back, I've only got my right ovary and am worried about if another as grown back then I'll have no ovaries then. Xxxxxx
Hi you should go to the doc and get checked out it could be some anxiety to but don't suffer get yourself checked out and don't leave it to long if you are having pain when you are passing urine it could be a urine infection so please contact your doc keep me updated Thinking of you. Janebee x
You need to contact the doctor, hospital ward where you had the surgery or GP to investigate asap why you are in pain. You may have a urine or post op infection. If your ovary was removed another cyst cannot grow on that side. Please see a doctor as soon as you can.
Hey everyone I went to the GP on Monday was rushed into hospital because I had a Supheric Abscess it was because of the surgery good job I went because I could have gone into septic shock again. Just letting you guys know how I got on xxx thanks
