Lower right abdomen

For the past 4 days I've been experiencing this dull pain in my lower right abdomen.. it's very unformtable whenever I walk + I've been getting some bloatedness.. I'm 19 yr female if that makes any difference. I'm just worried it is something serious.

Hi,

If it's something you have only had for 4 days it's unlikely to be anything serious. It could be caused be a variety of things including food related, IBS which can strike any time in a persons life and cause a variety of symptoms or just cause bloated feeling and a dull ache, constipation etc. I would take a watch and see approach as I expect it will resolve on its own.

Thank you I forgot to add that I took the morning after pill on the Sunday.. do you reckon that could have anything to do with it?

Yes it probably is related but it could be unrelated, keep an eye on it and see how you go. I'd give it a few weeks and hopefully it will have stopped. If the pain gets significantly worse or you get any other symptoms I'd see your GP who might want to do a blood test with an examination and possibly send you for an ultrasound scan just to make sure.
