Has anyone had a tubal ovarian abscess drained via laprascopic surgery?? How was pain after? I'm 2 weeks post op and getting pain where abscess was so scared its returned... also getting same kind of pain on other side?? So so anxious. Have been to ed and they said my bloods were fine and internal looked ok although he couldn't view my tubes. Any advice would be appreciated.

Try to relax, if the abscess had returned it would show up on your blood tests.
I'm just so confused why I'm getting the same pain. When I had the abscess last time my bloods were normal when I was on antibiotics bUT abscess wasn't gone. I just hope it's not happening all over again I'm so tired and drained I can't take anymore
Hello. I had an abscess drained last month. They did it with a tube and drain that I had for 2 weeks. At the time they removed the drain, the scans showed the abscess was completely gone. As far as all test show, I do not have any STD's. I do still have pain 2 weeks after the drain was removed. I am concerned as well. How are you all feeling now and what was your outcome? This is all so scary.
