Hurting so bad after pn block :(

So I'm 5 days out from my pedundal nerve block and I'm scared, I'm experiencing severe burning and pain in my clitoris. Which I have never experienced before. Could a pn block cause a flare or pain in this area I cant stop crying it's so awful. I dont see the doctor until November 4th. I just dont get why this is happening to me. I want to give up its unbearable pain. :(

You need some nerve pain meds ASAP and I mean gabapentin, amitryptiline Flexeril,cymbalta... something that is for nerve pain not just painkillers...go to emergency and tell them you're having nerve pain... insist on and name it ...you have to block the nerve pain signals right now...let me know

I have gabapentin, but I stopped it a few weeks ago. Should I try it again?

Amytriptyline or Nortriptyline are better and safer.

Gabapentin , Lyrica and Cymbalta cause terrible side effects. I honestly advise against using them.

You can go on Facebook and see blogs of people whose lives and health have been destroyed by these meds.

I’m sorry the block caused a flare. Ideally it should block the pain and thus prove which nerve is in trouble. Did they use steroid? It won’t work without some added to the anaesthetic.

Where did your pain originate? Can you describe it?

I've heard of people having a flare-up of symptoms after nerve blocks and Botox but then it settles down but the gabapentin should get you through the worst of it if that doesn't work then go get some amitriptyline or cymbalta or even cyclobenzaprine from the emergency.... Can I ask why you stopped the gabapentin?did.it work for you?

I felt it wasnt helping me, I'm just so scared I mean I've never had issues in my clitoris so I'm pretty freaked out. Idk if a pn block could cause a flare there I dont know much about this stuff:(

Well yes it can because the pudental nerve has branches that runs all through that area....Google a diagram of the pudendal nerve and you will see where the branches run.. remember knowledge is power so once you understand it you may feel you can handle it better... sounds like gabapentin won't work so I would try the cyclobenzaprine or the amitriptyline

She’s right. I’d try Amytriptyline or Nortriptyline.

Yes the block could affect the clitoral nerve.

Take it one step at a time.

For acute screaming pain Klonopin is the only thing that helped me get through that particular stage while you work or getting a longer lasting nerve pain regime.

I suggest Klonopin in very small amounts to at least take to get some sleep.

Start .5

Relaxing Your Muscles and Tissue Fascia

Your muscles may be squeezing the nerves including a he and just need help relaxing.

Sounds like a Valium suppository used internally to help release the squeezing muscles are needed immediately

I would try to get a Valium Suppository prescribed from any doctor and not wait

You don’t want to muscles to stay locked in any case.

If the suppository form is not accessible

Get Valium and crush a whole .5 tablet mix with coconut oil and do your best to use it internally as far and as much as you can reach following the path of the Pudendal nerve.

The suppository is best you want to relax those muscles which can be very tiny

If you had a hot tub and cool bath combo it would also help with regularity to again relax the muscles and fascia that are squeezing the nerve

Inflammation

Then there is the swelling

Reduce the inflammation in the body as a

No salt

Eat Pinapple and Papaya

Add Sprinkle Turmeric on foods Test in small doses for any food allergies

There are places you can go to dip yourself in a frozen temperature

(Not good to release muscles if they are causing the problem but great if the swelling and inflammation is causing the problem)

If it’s the inflammation then this could be great!

Medication

Gabapentin ans Lyrica is a long term plan

You go up slow and make a commitment

It gently lowers nerve pain

If you had a bad reaction try all at lower doses possible and go up every week

Do Not Drive!!! Until you have acclimated yo a maximum dose

Cymbalta helps quicker so if you are ok with it might be a good option

Amitryptaline is also an anti depressant great while you are figuring it out and can be taken with many other pain meds

I’m combination it lowers some pain

Klonopin is Addictive but you can get off of it

It is the only thing that helped while figuring out while going up on nerve Meds

The suppository Valium should do many things

Act as an antidessant

Relax muscles

And help you keep going

A very small amount of Klonopin to sleep could give you the strength to do everything you need to do to continue to get better

Don’t just sit and wait for doctors appointments letting those muscles freeze

CBD oil can also be very helpful

Or pot oil for muscle release

Mood and sleep

You can probably get this anywhere and don’t wait

I love your suggestion about Valium crushed into coconut oil. What strength do you use and how much pill mass per tap of coconut oil. Thank you.

Depends on what you need.

I would start with half a Valium crush into a teaspoon of coconut oil

The coconut oil is the carrier so it is personal preference how much you use

Can’t go wrong try half and if needed a whole

The suppository equals a whole .5 valium
