Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. I have had chronic pelvic pain for 5 years now. They are treating me woth consistent hormonal birth control. I havent had a period in 2 years. I have missed pills here and there. I have a very busy and stressful life. I tend to forget well I forgot 3 pills on the last week of my pills. Im in agony....it feels like my ovaries are being seared with a blow torch. The only positive thing is my clothes are very lose like I dropped a bunch of weight and having rib pain. Just wondering if this happens to others.

Hi have you had ultrasounds/ CT / MRI scans and bloods done? 5 years is a long time to be in pain but unfortunately not uncommon. Have you read up on endometriosis? If you aren't happy with the treatment for your pain and it's not working for you ask (or insist rather!) to be referred to a BSGE centre so you can be seen by a specialist if you need to and have full investigations and laparoscopy if necessary. Good luck
