Yes I had it several years ago and it worked very well for me. A bit painful after but no worse than really bad period pains and helped by pain relief. Give it a go

No as I said just like a painful period. I know it's scary you must decide what's best for you. I had really heavy periods which were impacting on my life so it was worth it for me . Take care
