I hurt when I stand. Walking hurts terribly during first twenty steps and the pain eases some. I had this about two months ago in two days gone. Aleve helped. But back again? Has anyone experienced this type pain?

Pelvic Pain...I Think.
Where is your pain located in your pelvis? Mine is deep in left side of vagina. I have suffered with this for years. I recently had a vaginal ultrasound down and every time the technician's wand touched one specific area it was excruciating pain. Something was seen on the US in one specific area ....although it is very small but it does correlate to where I explained I was feeling the pain. Regardless of how small....I want it removed. Not that simple...waiting to see a new gynecologist as mine just retired. I am hoping when she examines and touches in that area that she will see that I almost black out it is so painful. Have to wait for that appointment...may not be until early summer as naturally pregnant and cancer patients have priority. I also want to say that I am 61 years old and throughout my young adulthood had endometriosis...eventually leading to a hysterectomy at age 32. Edno recurred at age 37...removed surgically......recurred again at age 47...again surgically removed. Pathology both times showed endo. Again at age 59. this time there were some suggestion it could be endo with what showed on MRI but when surgeon went in and removed...pathology was not endo. I was told likely nerve pain I am feeling as due to my age unlikely endo. In my mind it feels exactly like past endo pain experiences. I am convinced there is something causing this pain that if removed may stop that pain....so I will stay focused on that course for now. I sit on bags warmed in the microwave throughout the day, take hot baths and rely on gabepentin (neurontin) and hydromorphonefor the pain. I This is a difficult topic to talk about especially where located. I also have MS. ....so I am no stranger to pain already even without the vaginal pain. I live in BC, Canada.
Also, that little ball that hurt when the wand pressed up against it could be a tightened band of muscles called a trigger point that is found in chronic pelvic syndrome. You might have to have a physio release it for you. It is not a quick solution, but might be the only option. Surgery won't fix it and sometimes makes it worse. It could be something else too, so I would have it looked at by your gyno. Just don't count on doctors to even be able accurately determine what it is because pelvic pain is still somewhat of a medical mystery. In addition, since it is qualified as a chronic pain condition, no one in the medical community cares too much about our fight with it. It is sad but true.
Yes I have that pain. You may very well have pelvic pain. My only advice is to try and get help sooner rather than later otherwise it becomes chronic. I get Botox done to the pelvic floor muscles also tell that floor physical therapy really helps and they will probably give you exercises to do.
Did you have a fall or injury prior to the symptoms starting?
It sounds like you should have an orthopaedic consultation as you may need an MRI spine, pelvis. It could be many things but if you make sure your spine and pelvis are OK first also ask about nerve entrapment in the lumbar spine. You may need referral for this to a neurologist who specialises in the lumbar spine. Get your GP to refer you to first of all orthopaedics and if necessary to a neurologist. All the best.
Sounds like it could be pelvic tension myalgia too or also called chronic pelvic pain like one one of the posters mentioned. I've had mine for 2 years now and did physio and everything after the numerous amount of time and money consuming tests showed nothing. I thought I had gotten rid of it but it has come back again. I'm trying to get back into a physiotherapist yet again. It didn't do much the first time since she didn't do any internal or external trigger work or massage work.
