If you are still in a lot of pain go and see your GP , my daughter was in a lot of pain after similar surgery and eventually we went to see our GP , she was taken straight back to hospital and she had to have another operation as she had adhesions and this was 2 weeks after surgery ! So if in doubt get it checked out .

Good luck .

Sorry to hear that you are in pain.

Do go back to your doctor if you are worried but I had the same surgery a few years ago and had a lot of pain too. My total recovery time was about 3 months. Hope the pain goes away soon for you. Do take it easy, hugs

Thanks I've had lots of surgery for the something similar and every time I have a simple surgery it takes me such a long time to get better. I have a doctors app but I'm still worried that I will get called a fraud cos I should be so much better by now.

Hi, I had a similar issue after a marsupialization surgery and the obgyn did call it "highly unlikely" to have inflammation and bleeding after such a surgery. He said I was just anxious (sounds like he got his degree in basement)

DO NOT trust a doctor who responds in such a manner, ask for a second opinion.

It took me 9 months to heal after a simple intervention too.

I had ovary removed through keyhole and my ilioinguinal and genitofemoral nerves were damaged, see your gp and ask about nerves, they actually take a long time to heal, especially if the Dr nicked them; however mine were damaged.
