Pain between hips and under pelvis

Pain between hips and kind of underneath them, I've been experiencing it for awhile now (I'm going to the doctors next week) has anyone else experienced this?

Do you mean right underneath? My pain is in my hips and right down near my tailbone.

Hi. I started off with a pain underneath my hip bone following a hysterectomy which sadly lead to being diagnosed with PNE. So have you had an accident or a medical procedure or has it come on slowly? It is worth a visit to your Dr and see what he thinks.. but really tell him you are in a lot of pain. Get him to sort it out .. It could be all sorts of less serious things. Good luck. Take care of yourself.

I've found that osteopaths are very good at anatomy and thoroughly examining your body. You may want to make an appointment with an osteopath to learn what the parts of your pelvis that hurt are and why they may be hurting and what the appropriate treatment would be. You may possibly have trochanteric bursitis, but really there are so many different types of hip and pelvic pain. A lot going on in that part of the body. You will want the osteopath or pelvic PT to assess whether your pelvis is in good alignment, or if it is out of alignment. This causes pain, among other symptoms, but is usually pretty easy to fix with either adjustments or muscle energy technique exercises.

Hi Porsha I do get this so bad sometimes. It feels like my hips are in a metal vice being squeezed more and more. I recently had bilateral lidocaine/steroid injections in both hips. The trochanter area. It has given a lot of relief. Good luck.
