A Pain in the Pelvis.
That's exactly what the Physiotherapist said when I seen her for the first time on Tuesday.
I bought it, and it had a lot of information, but I don't know if I'd call it a "good read"! It was written by Dr. Wise & Dr. Anderson, and I think that they are very knowledgeable. I do not think that it would be worth the $6000 for their seminar that they plug!
$6000 + is a lot of money. It was just the idea of where we hold our stress that interested me. I am trying to be more mindful of my stressors and relaxing my pelvic muscles more.
Yes, I’ve read it and it and I think they do provide some good points and tips, but I could never have afforded to travel to USA for treatment. Another useful book I found is Heal Pelvic Pain, by Amy Stein, who is a PT, based in New York, I think. There are various books on the topic.
If you do daily meditation you can relax your pelvis. I do 4 sessions a day. 10 min in morning, 5 min when I get to work, after lunch, and at bed time. Look up on utube they are free. You focus on your breath
