I have a bad knee and have received one cortisone shot last summer. Does anyone know if this is safe with PBC. I have ortho appointment tomorrow and wonder if it’s safe to get another cortisone shot. Thanks.

Absolutely have the cortisone injection. My PBC specialist says you can’t ignore other diagnosed conditions that need treatment just because you have PBC. I have Denosumab injections twice a year for my osteoporosis and my PBC specialist is fine. I’ve also had the cortisone injection for my knee twice, hope it works for you
Thank you, Samanthaann, for posting this question, and thank you, Cascade35, for responding. I’m so encouraged! I’m recovering from a knee sprain that came with bone bruising on the top of my shin bone and underside of my kneecap. It’s still so stiff 9 weeks later, but I’ve refrained from any pain/anti-inflammatory medication until recently. I broke down and took a Voltarin (topical NSAID) because I just wanted my darn knee to bend again. I know everyone is on a different path with their PBC journey, but I’m hopeful to now check this out with my specialist. Thanks again, and best wishes to you in your recovery!
