Hi,

I was diagnosed with Pbc 11 months ago and I’m on Urso, but keep getting an ache and bloated feeling on my right side, about level with belly button. Is this a known effect of Urso?

there has been some comment on other forum about URSO and bloating and if I remember rightly the suggestion was to try taking the URSO in a different way. Say you are taking it all at once try spreading it through the day or take it at night. It may be that a change of manufacturer might help as sometimes we can react to the fillers rather than the URSO. If nothing works best to have a chat with the doctor.

Thanks butterflyEi, my doctor is a bit mystified by this but I guess none of them are experts in Pbc, I take Urso twice a day with breakfast and dinner, but your suggestion about fillers isn’t something I had thought about before, so I’ll ask about this at next appointment.
