Went for my liver biopsy on Wednesday then ended up in the ER Wednesday night in pain. They did a cat-scan to see if I was bleeding internally which I wasn't thank God but now they found other things wrong with me something with my aorta I have a 3 centimeter cyst on my ovary...3 1.0 CM lymph nodes on or near my abdomen a couple of other things but I'm going to wait and see the doctor cuz I just got the results today from the hospital posted in my account and then my liver doctor called to push the appointment closer to go over the biopsy he doesn't have the results yet but my original appointment was for the 19th of January now he pushed it to the 15th but I have to go for blood test again because in the hospital my liver enzymes went sky-high and that could be caused by the biopsy he wants to make sure so I've had a last couple of the worst days my bones are killing me though I'm in a lot of pain this could be why my sedimentation rate is high and my CRP is high

So sorry about all that you are going through. Did they give you something to relieve the pain?

Please make sure you check in with your primary care doctor too so he can advise you about the non liver issues.

Get some rest & hopefully your doctors will help you manage through this.

Take Care.

Thank you I'm starting to question my primary doctor I don't think she knows what's she's talking about my liver specialist seems to be very well respected he is part of a completely different group and the rheumatologist is awesome but I'm not so sure about my primary I think she doesn't know what the hell she's doing I have an appointment with her Monday then Thursday the rheumatologist and then the 15th to liver specialist does it ever end I'm just nervous about my aorta it's bizarre to because I had a upper abdominal ultrasound in August and it showed everything normal and now the cat-scan shows it different I want to get copies of the first ultrasound cuz it says the aorta is fine and on the cat scan it days otherwise

If you are not comfortable with your Primary Care Physician, maybe you want to ask any one of your other doctors for a recommendation among their peers.

Given all of these medical issues, helps to have someone you trust & is competent. Otherwise you are just fending for yourself. Let the doctor do that for you. You have enough going on.

See what she has to say & if you still feel the way you do, best to switch doctors.

Keep us posted.

I I'm in CT thank goodness I'm moving back to NY I'm going to ask liver doctor to recommend

Also not sure where you are...but in NYC, it is very easy to get copies of your scans. The facilities can put it on a disc for you or they already have the scans on the patient portals which you can access instantaneously.

Sounds like you have had some rough days. Sorry you have gone through all that, but one thing is positive...you discovered some things that they can maybe fix. Hang in there!

Hi there... Seems you had a rough few days there. For the heart, if you don't have one, get a cardiologist and have the hospital fax their findings and scans. In addition, you'll want a gynocologist to review the ovarian cyst finding which actually are quite common. Many instances carriers recommend monitoring as they will usually dissolve on their own. I have one on the right along w/uterine fibroids and they can cause pain. Frustrating as it is, when you have an autoimmune disease (especially the liver), the odds increase tremendously that other body parts are compromised. It's imperative that you are confident and comfortable w/your medical team, listen to your body, and literally follow your gut intuition. Positive thoughts and healing energy✨

The only reason why I I'm having reservations about my primary is because the rheumatologist recommended that she send me to a Cardiologist because of the sedimentation rate being high and the CRP she basically negated it as not a big deal that she thinks my bones were hurting and I was having inflammation because my vitamin D was so low so she prescribed vitamin D tablets that I take once a week I just started but both the rheumatologist and the liver doctor are much more pro activewhat I can say proactive so I have an appointment tomorrow with the primary then Thursday with the rheumatologist and then the 15th with the liver dr. to go over the biopsy and I guess I'll take it from there but according to the CT I need to get to a pulmonary or cardiologist I'm not sure cuz I'm not a doctor I only saw these results because the hospital posted it on the follow my health that I belong to but what I will say is the emergency room doctor stressed that I need to get in touch with the liver specialist so I don't know if he just didn't want to tell me all this I don't know but I will tell you I'm not feeling good I'm very fatigued and very achy over the last month more so than ever
