Urso Dosage.

Hi,

Hoping somebody can help!

I keep reading that Urso is usually 15mg per day... but my tablets are 250mg and my specialist/consultant put me on 4 a day, so 1000mg per day... I'm wondering why the vast difference?

The dosage is to do with your weight. I think it might be 15 mg per kilo weight. 1000 mg per day is a very common dose. Don't worry.

4 250mg a day sounds quite normal... It also varies on weight.. But I was on 4 a day.... Hope that helps. X

Urso dosage all depends on how much you weigh. There is no standard dose.

Are your counts up? Mine was increased because the dosage i was on before wasn't bringing my counts down. I take 500 mg 3 times a day and my counts are good now.

I take 1250 = 5 capsules. I have no symptoms with my liver, I take them because Doctors told me to. I haven't gained any weight , I do weigh 99kilos.

Hello I am new here.I see you are taking 300 mg 3 x a day.of URSDIOL so am I after the third day started making me itch a little.How about you.I had a Liver Transplant in 2001 18 years ago.My Alkalina Phosphatase and GGt level running little high so Doctor put me on it.Question is how long you been on it and does it make you Itch.Thanks

Urso is given by weight of the person needing it.. so 15mg would not ever be a correct amount.. unless you were like 60 lbs.. at 149 lbs I take 1000mg
