sore spots
OMGosh! I do have sore spots on the underside of my foot and in the middle back portion of my heel. Physically, there is nothing visible as far as redness, dryness or even bruising, but periodically both feet just hurt. There are days that I must tiptoe and can barely put weight on my heels. You are correct in saying it hurts to touch, but I can't figure out why there is so much pain. I have looked at foot reflexology charts, and see the sciatic nerve and reproductive organs are listed in the area where my pain is. I don't have any issues with my sciatic nerve but wonder if the pain can be tied to menopause as it has been several months since my last cycle. Perhaps instead of cramps, my feet are feeling 'the change'?
Hi Sadie, if you're getting heat and pain in your joints, you need to be checked out by your doc for inflammatory arthritis. Typical PBC arthritis doesn't tend to look inflammed or feel hot, but you can get cross-over with PBC and other types of arthritis, particularly Rheumatoid Arthritis. So go get checked out.
Hi Jenner, it sounds like you could have Plantar Fasciitis and/or Achilles Tendonitis. I had both last year, and it is very painful. Your doctor should be able to shed some light.
