Guys as I’ve mentioned in earlier posts ive has constant head pressure and tightness since 4 months with the odd headache here and there. I’m injecting alternate day hydroxycobalmin since the past couple of weeks and I’m hoping for some relief. I’ve noticed that the day after my shot, I have the tightness. The next day it’s a little less. I sometimes take a naproxen if I get a headache and that seems to take it away. I also have a weak left leg,
Does anyone have any idea when this will go away? I miss my head being normal and light.
Thanksss

A pysio that specialises in vestibular rehab can give good exercises for the neck. Also posture as Gambit52 says can always be improved. We all carry a degree of tension in our bodies that you have to learn how to release . Easier said than done but I'm trying to tuck my chin in ect ect
I have had the skull tightness and different types and degrees of headaches all the way since I became b12 deficient. I also had no history of migrains or bad headaches.
The last neurologist said my skull tightness and the feeing of my glasses being clamped to my head is chronic ongoing tension headaches mingled with migrains. He explained the group of muscles going from your neck over your head and over your face ate simply cramping on and off all day sometimes escalating to severe pain. He thought a vestibibular disturbance. Apparrently b12 defiency can affect the cerribellum part of your brain. That was his only explanation for me and it's the only one I've had it does make sense.
All I can say as it has lessoned over the last few months. I have periods when I can almost forget the tightness usually when I'm not doing much!! Also the extreme scalp sensitivity has gone.
If you having the odd headache that isn t too severe perhaps your head will ease sooner. I do get it more after eating or talking!! So on a bad day have soft food and stay quiet.,which has really helped the noise sensitivity too. All very frustrating though.
The only solution the neurologist offered was a beta blocker. I've chosen not to take this at present .
As always an explanation helps you keep calmer about it all.
Ask your Gp about that group of muscles. It does sound very similar.
Ive had tension in my head for two months and occasionally a bad headache but more forehead pain. Never had headaches before just woke up one day and had it two days in a row waking up now its tension never gos away not stressed or anxious. Had mri with/without contrast and a ct and upper abdomen ulra sound all normal.
