Hi, I hope you are all having a good day.

Does anybody suffer with pins and needles in the head daily?

Also I have pins and needles in legs, arms, face, hands which now are

very painful, especially the fingers.

I am also having back and neck pain.

My GP has referred me to a Neurologist, but waiting for an appointment.

Has anybody have any advice please.

Greatly appreciated

Thank you

Kind regards

I can see many of your posts on this.May have answered this already ?

I have daily head pain / tightness.

Very itchy irritable scalp too

Not much to see but lumps and nerve pain I can feel.

Also tinnitus.

My symptoms have improved .

Still havd a vestibular disorder.

A course of pysio helped me .

Seen 3 neurologists and had 2 brain m r is a year apart.

'Nothing sinister found '

Their words.

My hands are often painful now .Erratic cramps. I've taken all rings off now.

My feet burning has stopped .

Neck crunches

Back often sore.

Agsin pysio.

Not standing on the spot too long helps me.

Also deep Epsom salt baths .

Head always a bit better after a hairwash .

Pysio says too move scalp skin around with pressure.

Still have pattern glare and light sensitivity to artificial lights.

Can now watch TV.

Use a loudspeaker on my mobile.

Still csnt use a laptop or landline or read a book.??

So haven't been given any reasons for many symptoms from a neurologist.

When I saw a neurologist for migraines at the time.

He said no quick fix but to continue the b12 injections .

Did mention cerrabella involvement/damage.

He ruled out post concussion syndrome

1 out of 3 thought hit on head involved .

Try pysio.

Eye exercises .

Hope your appointment helps you

Hi 👋 I have Peripheral neuropathy which comes in parcel with having pernicious anaemia 😏

I have pins and needles in both feet and hands.

My right foot gets spasms which I have to take medication for.

Since taking B12 regularly by SI myself and not waiting on the GPs, the pins and needles have improved a lot.

PS as I I'm typing now my right foot is buzzing.

Your neurologist will make sure you have a nerve conduction test. By using that, they can tell if your nerves are damaged in any way.

Good luck... keep us posted 👍

I had this and I found out I was low in folate. I purchased folic acid injections and self inject. My folate level was 2 and two month on injections my levels went up to 25 and symptoms have gone

I did have numbness in my jaw and pins and needles in in my head. It was awful.

I was injecting every day and within a few weeks my symptoms lessened. I was injecting 5ml and sometimes 10ml

bubbatetley Those are all B12 symptoms as well. You need to first check B12 status, and if it's low (or if you have functional B12 deficiency - high serum levels but neuro symptoms), then you MUST START B12 FIRST.

Starting folate treatment without B12 treatment, especially the high doses in these injections, can make your neurological symptoms worse and in fact may accelerate nerve damage. This is also mentioned in the folic acid leaflets.

So please please wait and get B12 sorted out first. If your doctor will not treat you, come back and we will help you.

If you have any labs to post, please do. If your appointment is far away, you can get private tests. Let us know.
