Dry mouth

Im on levothyroxine, zoloft, vitamin D. I was taking magnesium oxide and it seemed to help my depression and sleeping issues but worsens my dry mouth so much. I cant sacrifice my oral health as In worried about my gum and teeth health now. Has magnesium affected anyone like this? Maybe I could try another form of magnesium like glycinate. Im not undermedicated with levo. If anything Im over. B12 is low normal. It was like 445. 230 is like the cutoff for deficient. No folate results. Ferritin very high...just got diagnosed with genetic hemochromatosis. I order methyl b12 and methyl folate to see if it will help. Seems to help a lot of people with anxiety and depression and thats my biggest issue. Been dealing with crippling anxiety and depression for the last 20 years. Finally feel like Im seeing the light now but still some missing puzzle pieces...Any thoughts on this are appreciated. I know its disorganized lol. But thats just my brain...I know dry mouth is a symptom of zoloft. Cant come off it totally yet until i feel more improvement. I have been able to decrease it by 50 mg with the help of vitamin D.

I had a very dry mouth .

I found non alcohol mouth washes helped.

Moist food as oyherwisr gagged alot.

Tried breathing through my nose only more.

This breathing calms you too

Bio plain yoghurt ( i got oral thrush twice)

Steam inhalations

Sucking throat pastels

Herbal or bach remedues

Dont cure but stoo infections and more comfortable.

You could try another form of magnesium rather than Magnesium Oxide, which is not usually recommended. Maybe ask on the thyroid forum which form is recommended?

have you tried mouth spray, gel or pastilles? At present I am using bioXtra dry mouth gel spray.
