I know I can take
paracetamol
but that’s about it. I have my scan tomorrow. I would be grateful for any help/tips on what might make me feel better. At the moment I’m just taking
paracetamol
but it’s not really helping.

Getting people to understand your pain
Has anyone else been asked by a paramedic "have you taken
paracetamol
?" They wouldn't say that to a woman in labour!

TENS machine, AFl / Afib and aches and pains.
Because of taking blood thinners, most 'normal' painkillers are ruled out because they contain NSAIDs, leaving only really
paracetamol
for general pain. Or, if not, what do you use to help moderate 'normal' aches and pains? Thanks.

Pain from costochondritis is more severe than normal
I take
paracetamol
and 30mg codeine which usually the
paracetamol
is enough 2/4 a day but I’m on 8
paracetamol
and 2/3 codeine , if I take more then I feel very sleepy , I’m counting the hours until I can take the next dose.

PMR.. Osteoarthritis...
Paracetamol
HELPS IT. .. so I am thinking she is right. Perhaps my PMR is gone. But I wonder if taking
Paracetamol
or an Ibuprofen after prednisone is gone. might be worse than a couple mg. of prednisone_ ? any thoughts. She suggested a drug called. sulfasalazine and getting off prednisone.

At the moment a mix of a
paracetamol
and half an ibuprofen seems to work reasonably well for feet and toes but not quite so well on my thumb. Jolly trying in the night. I wondered if anyone else has tried other drugs? Thanks Louise

Can Paracetamol be taken for pain relief when on Anticoagulants?
After taking
Paracetamol
for pain relief on a regular basis when on Apixaban, I had bad reaction with terrible pain in my leg - was eventually diagnosed as Cellulitis which was cured with wide spectrum antibiotics for 7 days.

hypercholesterolaemia - getting nausea and headaches
For the last 8 days I have been suffering from significantly nausea and headaches which don't fully go away with
paracetamol
and I have cognitive confusion. Trying not to worry as it may be just a virus rather than something more concerning.
