I am on 4/1.2 of prednisolone ending my 4th week. Whooshing pulse in my head and headache every day for a week. Paracetamol not doing anything. All bloods last week normal. Any one else ever had this? Thank you 🙏 headache back of head.

Whooshing pulse sensation and headache every day for over a week

Did you mean to post twice or was it because you hadn't received a reply to your first question?
I replied with this on the other thread:
"A connection exists between adrenal insufficiency (low cortisol levels) and pulsatile tinnitus, where individuals might experience a rhythmic whooshing or thumping sound in their ears seemingly in sync with their heartbeat, due to the potential impact of stress-related hormonal imbalances on blood vessel function and auditory perception; essentially, chronic stress from adrenal insufficiency could contribute to the development or worsening of pulsatile tinnitus. "
Adrenal insufficiency can also cause headaches, especially occipital ones, at the back of the head.
I had this about a year ago. It was very unpleasant. my GP sent me to ENT department. After many tests and appointments They said I had a slight allergy which had caused my sinuses to inflame and suggested nasal spray!! They did syringe my ears however, which helped. But it seemed to improve on its own. Over time.
I’m sure it’s another PMR anomaly.😬
I’m thinking about compiling a list of things that come and go. X
Hopefully things will improve for you.

I have had this periodically. I believe it is pulsatile tinnitus. PMRPro probably told me years ago. I just put up with it and eventually it went away. It is weird though, isn’t it?
With me it was more in the early days on higher doses or when I was mid taper.
