I am in the middle of a nasty bout of flu/Rsv infection and have been totally floored by it. My query is I couldn’t take Night Nurse because of glaucoma. Does anyone know what medicines I can take (particularly at night) other than paracetamol?

Flu/Night medicines
hi Cuzz, I end up using things like Albas Oil, a steam inhaler, Sterimar and Benelyn chesty cough as most of the decongestants can’t be used, I hope you feel better soon
I drink manuka honey and lemon juice in hot water and take paracetamol, it definitely helps. Hope you feel better soon.
Hello. Whether you can take Night Nurse or not would depend on the type of glaucoma that you have. If you have open angle glaucoma, then you might be able to use this. If you have angle closure glaucoma/narrow angles, then it could be a problem. If you do not know already, I would recommend finding out what type of glaucoma that you have. If you do have narrow angles/angle closure glaucoma then most cold or flu medications can be a problem. I'd suggest to clarify this with your pharmacist before taking any new medications.
