Do you need to go to ER?
Hang in there.
If I get back to sleep, hopefully, I'll get back to you in the morning.👍☘️
Well?
Bless you. I also have alot of pain with my Fibromyalgia and dealing with Gerd. If your wife truly loves you. She will be there for you. In sickness and health. My illness screwed up my birthday and Christmas. Not been able to eat, drink, and be merry. My husband has been through this for 34 yrs. I hate seeing him not knowing what to do. I just tell him. Be there for me. 4 great words. I wish you a Happy pain free year. XX
you have my sympathy. This year from the beginning has been a nightmare. Besides suffering the pain of an RTA accident which although it occurred many years ago. In Feb of this year I was diagnosed with cancer, had an opp in April to remove it I have over the past 8 months suffered pain from the opp. At Christmas we cancelled a visit to my wife’s nephew who I get on with great, simply because it meant driving 60 miles there and back, but mainly because I knew that I wasn’t feeling up to travelling. On Christmas Eve she got plastered and was in bed by 7:40 pm, leaving me on my own on Christmas Eve. The next morning she blamed me for spoiling her Christmas. It would appear that no one understands pain, Unless they are suffering themselves. But I fully understand your concern. Let’s hope 2025 is a better year for all who find the suffer from pain.
You have my sympathy too. The thing is people don't understand anyone else's painIt spoils everything in our home. My wife does understand and helps me through.
I'm sorry you Christmas was spoiled,
Have you asked your GO to refer you to a pain clinic?? My GP (who is truly amazing) stated that there was nothing else HE could do for my chronic pain that wreaks havoc throughout my body - but he could refer me to a pain management clinic. It took a couple of months for the first appointment (basically a health check) - to be arranged but, from then on, things worked well and resulted in the clinic explaining to me (and my GP) that basically my lower back is shot. There is no surgical remedy as my spine has become twisted at the lower levels and the facet joints are also messed up. There is no clinic also said that I undoubtedly also have Fibromyalgia, and Arthritis throughout my body. They also suggested that my current medications be titrated down and new ones be titrated up 60 mg of Duloxatine AM and PM plus transdermal Buprenorphine initially at 5mg (released every hour). However, the low dose transdermal did absolutely nothing for me so, my kind GP immediately upted it to 10 and now after 10 days things do seem to be slowly improving. Obviously, the meds combo are not going to be a miracle worker and cure things, however, if they can just take the edge off a tad - I will be happy….🎊😊🎉
Hi thank you for your reply .I also have spinal problems after cancer ,its left me from the waist down nothing works anymore .but the worst thing is I lost my balance. But I will contact my gp about the pain clinic. Thank you regards
Hopefully, your GP will refer you to the Pain Clinic Bambs.and, that you find they are helpful for you. I went into it open minded - and was pleasantly surprised at the interest they took, and the lengths they went to, in an effort to help to relieve at least some of the 24/7 pain. However - I understand that it doesn’t work for everyone….
