femoral nerve pain
hello there, I’m so sorry that you are struggling with your pain at the moment and, with how it’s affecting your life at the moment. Obviously, the loss of your son is still weighing heavily on you, especially as it is still so recent and, very raw - so It’s possible that the pain in your heart is also aggravating the pain in your groin and leg. Please, please let your family know that you are struggling, as they may well be unaware just how hard it is for you. Please, also ask your doctor to refer you a pain management clinic and, also to a social health team, who can come to your home to see if there is anything practical they can do to help. Are you able to do your shopping online?? Personally, my husband (who will be 80 in a few weeks) and I, have found it invaluable. My issues cause me, what I consider at times, intolerable pain - and as a lady aged 77, I am having to learn to accept that nothing, apart from pain relief, can be done to help it. However, I do have a lot of family help and support, so I am aware that, in fact, I am extremely fortunate.
Hi, seems we are the same age. I too have excruciating leg pain. From bottom down to foot. Particularly in calf. The doc thinks not sciatica as it is down the side , I am awaiting an MRI. Got a phone call Friday on mobile it rang about three/four times I answered it went to missed call, then my landline rang I got there as fast as I could that also went to dialling tone. I know it was the hospital they hardly gave me time to answer, so now worried what will happen. I have had this since September, getting worse each week. The doc has no idea. I am taking cocodamol but it worries me so just take the over the counter one 8/500. So not much pain relief and like you worried about Christmas as my family coming to me. I can hardly walk. I am so sorry about your son. It is too much to bear . Mine came out of nowhere had no pain or indication of anything wrong, just woke up one day with the pain. I hope you get some relief but I do have some idea of what you are going through.
Bless you I have that nauseating exhausting groin and thigh pain too so I send you a huge gentle hug. I've given up any relief just keep taking the tablets, hot and cold and a heat cream. I send my condolences too on the loss of your Son. I lost my Son in 2008 yet for me it still feels like yesterday. I hear you Arvine I really do x
