MRI showed, extruded disk, impingent of nerve root at L2 L3, so have had severe pain in front right thigh, numbness, some tingling, and groin pain on and off, Have been going for non invasive spinal decompression therapy at a clinic that uses a DX6000 machine, to target that particular disk, to relieve pressure off nerve, it,s a form of regulated traction, bit by bit they increase the amount of weight that stretches spine , idea is to create a gap where nerve impinged, have had 13 sessions now, and committment for rellief is 20 sessions, Im finding at times a little relief, but still there, and groin pain , on reading and researching a lot, have found that is where the femoral nerve originates, at L2, along with the mechanical therapy, having hands on by physiotherrapist at that facility, but can,t make her understand, that it is the femoral nerve entrapped, because MRI only states L2 nerve root impinged, Has anyone out there had a similar experience, and what are the results please,

Groin pain, femoral nerve entrapment
I completely understand what you're going through as I've been having the same pains and going for mri on the 17th of next month. The pain is excruciating I really do empathise with you.
I had L5/S1 removed however the disc had already done the damage and nerve root permanently damaged so I have permanent damage to the nerve root which mean I still have all the symptoms including bilateral sciatic pains
I have similar pain to what you describe and have been frustrated for a couple of years dealing with it but with minimal results. Severe pain in the front right thigh, numbness, tingling, and groin pain is what I have in addition to pain on the left side, but limited to my ankle and foot. The groin pain for me becomes right testicle pain which is no fun. I've been going to a pelvic therapist for the groin pain with some improvement but indeed not elimination of the pain. I can only walk a short distance now without sitting, so I carry a portable stool. I am very interested in minimally invasive procedures. I have found that THC gummies help immensely with sleep. My issues seem to be l-3 to l-4 to l-5 and l-5/S1 significant bulge. A nerve study shows entrapped nerves. The actual manifestation of pain came after a laminectomy which has not resulted in FBSS (failed back surgery syndrome. I want to learn more about the DX6000 machine. Not sure any of this helps or answers your question.
Hello hiker, yes I will try and send some info on that therapy shortly where do you live

ok hiker, well I am in Canada, sorry the machine is a DX9000, I have a pamphlet with info, but perhaps you could google to read up on this non invasive spinal treatment, Im going to do the same see if there is good info, and will add to it, if think more details about it,
Thanks. Found their website at a different address durhamspinaldecompression.com/ and getting their news letter and seeimng if thre are similar providers in U.S. I'm very curious about this therapy.
