I have a number of health conditions, so I'm used to pain.
However, I have started with experiencing intermittently sore fingers - my ring finger on both hands around my middle finger joint. It's not unbearable just really annoying.
Has anyone every experienced this?
Thanks

I have degenerative discs, PCOS and endo. I also have suspected lymphocytic colitis. No I hate going the GP, and I actually dread the thought of having something else that can't be cured hah.
How’s Endo doing? Or rather not doing preferably 😂
Have you been working with your hands recently doing same tasks? Might simply be ligament/tendon strain. If that’s a possibility some massage to your lower arms would help.
Still something causing pain, I’m causing them grief for answers 🤣
It is very naff 🙂
Might be catching up with you, typing can cause the muscles etc., to go right in your arms and shoulders and in turn tightens fingers. You can easily do some massage all over lower arm particularly follow the line of the fingers with pain, up to elbow. Don’t go into the joint though, use cream or oil. Always work towards the heart. You’ll easily spot a tight or tender area and just spend a bit longer but gentle. No more than two mins in one area. Phew, think that covers it. If you can afford it sports massage or physio. There’s loads on the net for hand exercises.
Well hope you get some answers off them! It is such a battle. Thanks, will give it a go. I get a massage every month so will get her to concentrate on that.
It could be trigger finger. This can be helped with a steroid shot in the joint. I've had trigger finger in most of my fingers over the years and eventually got them all surgical repaired.
I have that also, the worst in both ring fingers and for now I’m avoiding wearing any rings unless they are very easy to put on and remove. I am assuming it’s arthritis but intend to mention it to my doctor if it doesn’t go away soon.
hello - I have very sore fingers - particularly in the morning. It started recently - last month or so - and occasionally it happens during parts of the day. Unfortunately I don’t know why it is happening but can offer solidarity as it is very painful.
I began.to get pain in third finger of right hand. Diagnosed as OA. Had an injection that was very painful and it didn't help. Finally got an appointment at muscular skeletal clinic at the end of March? Hopeful of reduction in constant pain.
