hey I’m currently still waiting for a diagnosis. In absolute agony in my fingers and wrists, hips occasionally hurt and arm muscles feel weak and it all started with my back which is the main area of pain for me. (Entire back and spine hurts) looking for some hope, has anyone tried Celadrin capsules I have heard good reviews about it, magnesium for muscle relaxation as mine feel like bricks or vitamin d? And if so have any of these helped?

does the pain ever stop and will I get my life back it’s been 2 months of straight agony with no break, starting to lose any hope that it will ease :/ I’ve had someone tell me this is my new norm and it is not the nicest feeling

Hiya Amy,have you tried physiotherapy or maybe a massage gun that will go deep into your areas of pain.Ive had a bad back with extreme pain in my legs for the last 15 years. For one reason and another,my issues are still there.if I had the choice of taking painkillers or physio/massage,I would take the massage everyday. You could also try a site like escape pain that'll give you very good advice on your particular subject.gd luck Amy.

hi I have a massage gun just used it but the muscles still ache unfortunately, and the ones that hurt even more are right next to my spine so it’s difficult not to hit the spine . I’ve tried a deep tissue massage when this all started but it seemed to make things worse which was weird

I’ve not heard of Celadrin. Can you try Voltarin? It can be compounded into a higher dose if necessary.

Passionflower tablets help with pain and anxiety. Boswellia helps pain to.

Epsom salt baths calm muscles. Magnesium bisglycinate orally is calming to muscles to.

I suggest seeing an Osteopath.

Most people are deficient in D & magnesium, so these might help. Make sure to take natural D3 not synthetic D2, & Mg bisglycinate (bedtime, empty stomach with water) is the most bioavailable.

I use an infrared lamp daily for pain, arthritis & a prolapsed disc, as well as acupuncture. Seeing a chiropractor also helped, as did pain management, & walking to strengthen my paraspinal muscles. .

It’s import to know the cause of your pain as if there’s compression to your discs affecting your nerves, this might be the cause of the pain elsewhere. Your GP needs to refer you for an MRI to find out what’s wrong so you have options for treatment.

hi thank you - I take magnesium malate as I heard that’s good for muscles? And I take vitamin d as my levels for that were slightly low. Been taking it for a week but not really felt much improvement. I should definitely look into acupuncture

Bisglycinate is the most bio available. There’s information available online re the different forms.

Vitamin D3 should be a high dose initially, & during winter months.

Most supplements are not a quick fix & take time to work if deficiency is an issue.
