Zomorph: Possible overdose with 30mg?

Hi all,

I have been taking Zomorph 20mg twice a day. Today I took 20mg this morning and capsule of 10mg at lunch thinking it was a antihistamine. I have taken my usual 20mg after dinner and noticed that then that a capsule is missing. Is this an overdose I need to be concerned about as I am worried that morphine is very dangerous?

In reply to your question, No this is not an overdose, and the fact that you noticed it and are worried about it is an encouraging sign. If after 12hours you feel "different" or weird, please contact your GP, but you body should be able to deal with this mistake itself, and evaccuate the offending medicine. Afternoon I think you will be fine I take a transdermal morphine patch which is 20 µg every hour 24 hours a day seven days a week as it’s a seven day patch and I take a lot of other opiates as well so no I don’t I don’t think so you’d have to take a lot lot more than that hope this helps

Hi im on the 20mg morphine patch as well. What othet opoids do you take as my doctor took me off tramadol without considering my pain and suffering

Yeah I don’t take tramadol I don’t think there very good I take my gabapentin My patch and I take up to 8 Zapain which are 500 mg paracetamol and 30 mg codeine that’s all I take for my pain and my pains it’s fine I’ve got an impingement on L5 I’ve got to the whole of my lumbar region I have arthritis in and I have a disk degeneration of the top of my spine Clavicle disc generation as well Also I have gout the right foot osteoarthritis of the left knee left hand hand hope you can get help with it

thank you for your replies. I did notice a little more pain relief and have skipped by morning dose just in case. I appreciate you sharing experiences and guidance.
