On- set scoliosis with stiffness and pain

Pain + fever during movements and rest. I can’t function without pain pills and I still haven’t been diagnosed properly. I can’t breathe properly unless I push my torso forward and sometimes to the side. When I feel sharp pain I start feeling heat along my spine that just makes everything worse. I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to tell the difference between back pain + asthma attack and if I get infected with corona virus symptoms unless it gets severe ? I worry most about my family members because I’m the only one going out to run errands..

Sorry to hear that you are struggling with not just the pain but also the lack of diagnoses. Who have you seen about this? Have they looked into connective tissue disorders and hypermobility?

I hope you can get some answers soon. I think over the next few weeks we will get used to the new 'normal' and many appointment will be done online or over the telephone and we can get back to addressing some of our routine concerns with our doctors.
