I have only just seen this now, have you had it yet?

I had one a number of years ago, and it was fine, it didn't really hurt very much, just a bit uncomfortable. Nothing that needed more than a single dose of ibuprofen.

I was so chatty in the car on the way home that my husband had to tell me to shut up!

Thank u so much,i am on the waiting list now. How long do you have t wait for the surgery after you have been referred? Do u need follow up app after or they tell u everything on the day?

Sorry I missed your posting. I am on Amitriptyline 2 x 20mg twice a day. I have had problems with my eyes but was assured by optician it had nothing to do with my medication. I have thickening of lens so going for replacement then going to specialist at hospital to check out eyes thoroughly. I do hope you have received lots of replies giving you varied answers. God bless you and my prayers are with you.xx

Waiting lists vary around the country so it is best to ask the people running the service, either your consultant or the hospital.

As for follow up, they may be able to tell you the results on the day, but if you need further treatment you might have to go back for another appointment to discuss it.
