For around four months, I’ve been getting these stabbing jabs in the top- rear of my head. I’m really scared because I will get that jab if I bend over, strain during BM, or lay on that side (right side) I’ve read too many horrible things on the internet and have myself convinced it’s either anurysim or tumor. I go to bed wondering if I will die in my sleep . Anyone else ever experience this?

What has your doctor suggested it might be?
The main source of pain in the head is not ananurysim or tumour, it is more often muscular. There are muscles that run up your back to your skull, and all around your neck and skull. There is also something called referred pain, where the source of the pain is in a different area to where you feel the pain. For instance if I have a painful BM I get a sharp pain in the top of my shoulder.
As Sazntef asks, what has your doctor said? It is worth going to see them if you haven't yet, because if it is muscular then there is something you can do about it.
