Sharp pain after sitting

Has anybody had a sharp pain Between my legs after sitting in the car for just over an hour and quarter my right leg just wouldn’t move was so painful

Have you had any scans, MRI's of pelvis, lower back yet? Also, where exactly is your sharp pain?

Be careful could be herniated disc... mine was, sitting in car waiting for daughter in dancing lessons. Didn't listen to my body and ended up in a right old mess.

I did and it became so bad that eventually I only sat if I had to be in a car. I had a severe disk herniation and it caused Cauda Equina Syndrome. You should get an MRI of the lumbar spine.

Just be careful it can go so quickly, I too have been left nerve damage to left saddle effecting bowel.. didn't think it would happen to me... young for age, fit netball player 46...but it did. TBH it's been personally devastating. Height of Covid so no treatment just pain relief. After pain went been left a numb sensation, everything feels different, walking, swimming, sex. I know there are people loads worse off then me and that's what keep me going. But it has been a life restricting/ changing experience and want to help anyone else to avoid ending up where I am. Listen to your body its telling you something, I didn't massive regret.

Have you done your MRI ?

Make a habit to sit in distsnce from your dashbord. Stretch yours legs halfway. Dont bedn your knees more,

Have they not done another MRI before this surgery....that seems odd. Trying to get an operation is not easy, esp during Covid times

Yes I had one done a couple of months before I saw the consultant

What did your MRI say, where is your issues, my guess S1/L5???

No I haven’t had another mri there was no need as it only happened last sunday

It could be nerve related. Best to mention it to medics if it continues ?

Yes I will hopefully op on the 13th
