Balm for muscle aches

Are there any that are actually effective? I have fibromyalgia and am in a big pain flare up, especially in my arms and shoulders. Does anyone know of any ache relieving balms, hot or cold, that are effective for more than your everyday muscle overuse?

Etoflam is a strong anelgesic rub- but only on prescription here in Ireland.

Hi Teal

I use Sombra cooling lotion . It is all natural and it does leave you feel cool. They offer a warming lotion if you prefer that. My massage therapist puts it all over lol. Amazon carries it. My mom uses the Volterin mentioned below and loves it!

Hope you feel better

Hi.

I always use SBC Arnica gel, there is the standard 1 and a more intensive formula. I get it from QVC. It's got p&p on it, but you can get litre sizes delivered to your door.

qvcuk.com/SBC-Arnica-Skinca...

Hope the link works. There is also a 500ml size, but the litre size is better value.

qvcuk.com/SBC-Intensive-Arn... this link is for the intense gel. There is also a muscle soak.

I personally find the Arnica really good & I like this formula. There sometimes are trial sizes but they tend to be a variety of different gels. Hope this is helpful.

Kind regards,

Catmag.

Hi. I really appreciate the pain you are in as I am suffering with my arms and shoulders too. I have just started using Perskindol gel and it does seem to be a little better than Voltarol.
