It could be an impacted colon. Are your bowel movements regular? Are they soft enough to come out? I've had several impacted Colin's as I have battled constipation since my first pregnancy. The best way to determine if that's what you have it's to go to the emergency room where they will do a CT scan to see what's going on in there.
Aamir147147, sounds like you've got a an ulcer of some type, duodenum, which the pain comes in waves and then might ease off after a belch, and having constant hunger pangs and possibly having acid reflux, so if you smoke or been drinking to much alcohol this can cause you problems along with the pain you're having, so more than likely a course of omeprazole or something similar might help, but definitely get seen by a professional and get tested for the H pylori bug as this can cause other stomach problems, keep away from spicy foods etc, and I believe over the counter zantac has a small active ingredient of the drug omeprazole, but may be not a strong enough active agents to get on top if your condition, I had the ulcer problem years ago and sometimes it felt like a red hot knife going into my stomach area and the pain is bad, so don't delay in getting some treatment and yes it makes you feel generally very ill, so don't spend all day on websites looking for help get to the doctors before this problem becomes a bigger issue, best of luck for now, cheers
Around 24 hours, if you have any sort of ulcer you really need to get a correct diagnosis, signs and symptoms are really difficult to second guess and as your symptoms might of been similar to what I had it doesn't always mean you have an ulcer, so seek some medical advice, thanks
