You guys will here from me I still have fibro and now havegastritis has any else had this.they want to stretch my esophagus . Dr did it once it went back now he wants to enlarge it again I said no.Susiejo1948

ABC111it is dangerous they can put. A hole in it. And have it removed than I,d have too be tube fed the rest of my life. I,m scared I know I need it done I,'ve lost weight 134 to 105 in a month. I Don,t know what to do and yes it's painful. Susiejo1948

I'm on Zoton Fastab orodispersible lansoprazole tablets. But Consultant saying to try Gaviscon Advance also. Would these help you do you think?

Do you have an hiatus hernia and GORD? Do you have Laryngopharyngeal Reflux?

From your weight would I be right in thinking you are in US?

If so then that would be GERD and Extraesophageal Reflux.

Why do they want to stretch esophagus? Can you eat and drink ok now or very painful.

I too am now free of cancer (4 years). Also grade 3, with lymph nodes affected. Now I MIGHT be facing bowel cancer. 8-(

Mary_interception,yes I have a hernia and gerd it's very bad ,I,'ve had it since the early nonetheless. Had surgery on stomach and esophagus in 1996 they would,NT say how long it would last . They wrapped the upper part of my stomach over my esophagus and stapled it down.it was.about eight years ago it was back with a vengeance.It's caused my esophagus get thick and and the acid is tearing me up I can,t eat with out getting sick to my stomach the surgeon wants to go down and stretch it. My food is sticking I have to wait at least an hour for it. to go down or vomit. I,m afraid he,'ll slip and cut it than I,d have to be tube fed. I,m frameworks you guys let me know if it's a yes or no to surgery. I take pepsid and compazine does,NT help my esophagus is very small damage from the acid.I hurt from fibro and this doubles my pain. Thanks for letting me know about the meds I,'ll ask my skin Dr about it.I,m going to have that surgery I just worried about it I can,t afford to lose any more weight. Yes I,m a a american. I like learning what others have and meds they take and if it hurts. Susiejo1948

Sandylo,May I ask who told you stage 2 can,t be cured?. I had stage three and in lympnodes was told I was going to die he told my family including was going to die. Cancer Dr wanted me to do radiation I said no so I did 6months chemo. Miracles happen and I was one and it could happen to you.you have a guardian Angel whose beside you always looking out for you have you tried a second opinions.if my stage three Can be cured why not your stage2.
