Recent neck pain with a rather... personal cause.

As any young man does I masturbate every now and then, lately though it has started to cause sharp, and sometimes intense pain, over the past few days, as always looking around on the internet brings nothing but doom saying such as clots and cancer. The thing that makes me doubt that is the specific causes of the pain and where it's located, some places linking that this is natural for a zinc deficiency (which I can casually alter the shopping list for) and excessive masturbation (which I am limiting myself on already.) If anyone can give me any tips or insight as to what may be the cause. I would be very grateful as it has made a rather good stress relief... more stressful.

I should also add that the pain doesn't ever come on when I perform any exercise such as running, cycling or moving quickly. Which is why I've ignored posts that say aneurysm.

When I was young, and started to have orgasms, they weren't really pleasurable. They just resulted in a sort of abdominal pain. Within a month masturbation resulted in pleasurable orgasms.

I've been masturbating just fine for about 7 years, this has only recently started to happen.

I'm female yet I feel this may need to be addressed by a doctor if something pleasurable suddenly becomes painful it needs to be addressed by a professional. Pop up and see your GP and get this issue dealt with, it may even put your mind at rest too. All the best. Sally x

I agree with Sally. I think that there is no point in making yourself increasingly worried about this. A doctor can advise you and perhaps organise a painless scan for you. You could have a cyst pressing on a nerve for example.
