Hi everyone first time on here . I have MS and take Nurontin Aciclavor Cetralapam Clonazapin Amitriptyline Statins and now have a bursitis in my hip so damn painful just wanted to know if there are other pain killers l can ask for as all my other medications don't touch this pain 🤔😫

Can you please explain what these conditions do to you as I don't know what this means. I want to understand how this effects you. Cheers.

It does seem that you have drawn a short straw there. Poor you. Although I don't have experience of acupuncture I have heard it can help pain. Also CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) is effective in coping with chronic conditions. Nothing to lose by trying these drug free treatments. My brother had MS and used medical marijuana. You never know that might help. Good luck 🤕

Hi ms monster. I feel ya pain. Ive sufferer yra of pain being fobbed of by all and sundry fir 20 plus yrs. I was saying to my niece today I sometimes feel that the Dr's make me feel like I'm lying. I seen my shoulder consultant, last who made me feel likþe a liar as he asked who'd diagnosed my fibromyalga told what gp had said and fell like s fraud . Spike to my gp and told me your not a lia fibromyalga is a real disease xxxx

I have bursitis , it was awful pain. Initially I managed it with ibuprofen and Butrans patches ( morphine based). The Butrans patches made a real difference to me, kept me moving etc. the only thing which has really helped and made a dramatic difference was a series of steroid injections a couple of months back. It has made such a difference, for some it doesn't work, but for me it has.
