Sharp head pain

I am 70 years old and sometimes get severe Sharp pains on the right side of my head.i also have epilepsy any ideas?

I remember reading about transient sudden sharp pain on one side of the head being a form of migraine.I m sorry i cant remember how i got to that piece but it was over a year ago.Perhaps you could look up intermittent or transient recurring pain one side of head?? I think you should make a gp appt. if nothing else than for reassurance.Who know perhaps its a spasm in a bloodvessel in the scalp?? Im sure a doctor could give you the ansewr.At least the fact that its recurring and nothng bad has happened makes me think it will be ok.Best of luck

As this is more than a one off and naturally concerning you because of your epilepsy i think you should definately get medical advice on your symptoms. I hope it turns out to be nothing more than a pin in your hat.
