Shooting pain through head

So every now and then I get these really strong pains going through my head, right where the spine connects. It happens whenever I turn my head. It shoots through the back and top of my head, and a burning sensation follows. It makes my tongue numb and I'm afraid to turn my head now. The pain almost makes me black out.

you should go to the doctor and see what is causing this. it sound like a nerve pain but im no doctor. maybe you might need one of those neck collars untill this settle down. try and go and see the doctor or go to the hosptal as you might well need an ex ray to see what the problem is. i hope you have pain relief. take care of yourself now.love grace xoxo
