Last week I felt as if I was going to faint while I was sitting down. All of a sudden my arms and legs started feeling weak and I had an intense pressure on my head and nausea. I also felt a heavy feeling on my chest and pain through my muscles from my chest, neck to head.
The pressure on my head stayed, not as severe as last week but it's present. I'm also lightheaded, excessively tired and don't feel comfortable walking long distances cause I worry I might faint. My GP said that's it's related to low blood pressure. I worry it could be something more serious.

What worries me is that I still feel extremely lightheaded and tired. The pressure on my head also doesn't sit well with me because it's been going on for a week now
see if you can see another doctor at the surgery. Worrying will not do you any good at all… try to relax. I get anxieties and know what you’re going through. . I go for walks with my poodles. I live on my own, Try to see friends. Just try and ease your anxieties. I hope you feel better very soon xxx
If gp thinks this is due to low blood pressure what are they suggesting to do about it? Take off a medication? Add something? It’s not ok to say what they think it is but not what they will do about it.
The answer I got was: you are 29 and too young for anything more serious, when your blood pressure drops you feel lightheaded, which is quite normal and happens to even the healthiest people
Sara, get yourself to A&E. Women experience different symptoms to men when it comes to the heart. Those classic symptoms of chest pain and arm pain do not apply to women. It can be vague back or headpain and fatigue. Do not be put off by your GP.
