I had root canal done couple of weeks back. Before root canal I was given antibiotic course which i completed couple of days before the root canal appointment.

Week after root canal I was feeling the same pain which i had before the root canal. I called on my dentist and she gave me Antibiotic "Metronidazole" which i finished recently on 27/11.

I am going for Crown on 1st December but I still feel pain once in a day especially early in the morning.

I am not sure why i am having pain after root canal & Two courses of antibiotic.

maybe you need to inform the dentist, you are still in pain with this tooth before the crown work takes place. It could just mean the tooth area needs a chance to settle / calm down from the root canal work. I wish you luck,
